I'd recommend sticking with what you've got currently. If the shocks feel a little light they may be worn and need replacing.
The 052-003-00 part number you gave comes back to a part number from Dexter Axle, and while we do not carry a direct replacement we still may have something for you.
If the axle the shock goes to is 2 3/8" in diameter and has a 3.5K capacity, then the Lippert Standard Replacement Shock # LC283271 would work great as a replacement. view full answer...
The tallest spring hangers we have in a 9/16 eye diameter are the Redline item # E4139 you were looking at. If you want to go to the 5 7/16 inch hanger you were referencing you will need to upgrade to 3/4 eye diameter leaf springs.
